Help support the 2022 Charlottesville Fireworks & Charlottesville-Albemarle Rescue Squad

The Charlottesville July 4th fireworks are funded each year by generous donations from the community. Every penny goes towards the fireworks celebration, shot off by the Starfire Corporation from private property on the gorgeous Carter’s Mountain, with any additional funding going towards supporting a local nonprofit that makes a difference in the Charlottesville community. This year the group has kindly chosen to support the Charlottesville-Albemarle Rescue Squad (CARS).

Volunteers from the CARS have been providing EMT service to our community since 1960. Our highly trained volunteers answer over 6,000 calls annually. At any given time CARS has over 110 active volunteers, who collectively donate over 60,000 hours of service.

We rely on our generous donors to help us purchase ambulances and other essential apparatus. Thank you for your ongoing support!
