Candy can be a dentist’s worse nightmare.
For Charlottesville Pediatric Dentistry, it’s an opportunity.
According to NBC 29:
Charlottesville Pediatric Dentistry holding a candy buy-back program in which children can give away unwanted candy that will then be sent to soldiers.
This is the fourth year the office has taken part in the program.
After giving away their candy, kids opt to either receive a prize or get a coupon for free ice cream.
Staff say they’ve had children and their parents stopping in with or without an appointment to give away pounds of candy.
