Don’t want to go to the DMV this weekend? Well, congratulations here’s your excuse.
According to CBS 19:
All DMV customer service centers will be closed Saturday, Aug. 4 for a computer mainframe move.
The Virginia Information Technologies Agency is moving the state’s mainframe services to a new supplier’s location.
Also impacted with this transition is the website dmvNOW.com. Customers will not be able to conduct transaction on that website. Web service is to be restored as soon as the move is completed.
