‘Pretty much everyone on the plane threw up’
That’s not exactly what you want to hear from a pilot’s report after a flight from Charlottesville to Washington Dulles International Airport.
Pilot report from the Washington DC area this morning:
“IAD UUA /OV KIAD/TM 1238/FL040/TP CRJ2/TB MOD-SEV/RM VERY BUMPY ON DESCENT. PRETTY MUCH EVERY ONE ON THE PLANE THREW UP. PILOTS WERE ON THE VERGE OF THROWING UP. AWC-WEB”

This past Friday, Charlottesville experienced wind gusts up to 55mph, and over 118,000 people across Central Virginia were without power. Many roads and schools were also closed. It wasn’t exactly a perfect day for a flight, and quite honestly, I’m surprised the flight wasn’t delayed. (Speaking from experience here, almost every flight I’ve had flying back to Charlotteville has been delayed for other reasons). What’s your worst airplane experience?
