At least, it made me scratch my head.
BuzzFeed did a list of slang words that’s popular in each state. The number on slang word in Virginia is……
Brick.
Brick?
As in: A long time, far away, etc. Ex: ‘I haven’t seen you in a brick.’
Am I the only one that has never heard of this?? I was born and raised in Virginia, and have never heard ‘Brick’ used in a sentence other than referring to a house, a cheesy 70’s song, or on the basketball court. Have you used ‘Brick’ in that context before?
