Lady Antebellum, Darius Rucker & Russell Dickerson at Jiffy Lube Live

Way back in 2011, Lady Antebellum and Darius Rucker first joined forces when the solo country artist opened for the band on their 2011 tour. Then, in 2013, the two acts collaborated on Darius Rucker’s cover of “Wagon Wheel,” which hit number 1. Darius Rucker also collaborated with Charles Kelley in the track “Straight To Hell,” from his recent release “When Was The Last Time”!

“‘Straight to Hell’ was huge in my day,” Darius Rucker said, regarding the collaboration. “When it was played in the bar, every single person in the bar was singing and hugging their best friend… I’ve wanted to cut that song since I came to Nashville, and I kept saying I was going to cut it someday. For this record, I was thinking about cutting it. Then Charles Kelley called me out of the blue and says, ‘Man, I was just listening to Drivin’ N’ Cryin’s “Straight to Hell” and I think you should cut it, and you should let me sing on it.”

There couldn’t be any two better acts to join one another on tour!!
