Morgan in the Morning Interviews Friend Who Was Diagnosed with COVID 19

When you scroll though your social media pages or watch the news long enough, you’ll start to have a mixture of fear and optimism.

If you don’t know anybody that has the virus, then for the most part it’s business (cautious) as usual.  You either still go to work or stay at home and quarantine.  You wash your hands, you make sure not to touch your face. You fearfully watch the number of confirmed cases climb.

But when you find out someone you know was diagnosed, a cold reality starts to set in.  ‘This really is happening’.  ‘This could happen to me’.  ‘If it happened to them, could it happen to my parents, significant other, or myself’?

These are thoughts that came to my mind when my friend Jim Ziegler was diagnosed.  I’ve known Jim for fifteen years.  He hired me for my first radio job in Knoxville, TN.  Once Jim was better, I invited him on to the show to share his experience.
