Before ‘the cloud’, there was a VHS tape.
If a VHS tape containing cherished footage was damaged or lost, you were out of luck. In this ‘Feel Good Friday’ story, a tape was not damaged but rather found inside a VCR at Goodwill. It was child taking his first steps, recorded in 1994. The man who bought the tape saw the footage, and immediately went to work tracking the family down.
TyRe Alexander was 10 months old in that video. He’s now 26, and Jim McKay successfully tracked down the family so that TyRe can watch an historic moment in his life.
