The rumors are true, Pier 1 will be closing their doors at the Shops at Stonefield.
According to NBC 29, Pier 1 is shuttering nearly half of its stores across the country. Bloomberg reports the company is preparing to file for bankruptcy, although Pier 1 hasn’t confirmed this.
In other retail news, The Gap Store inside Fashion Square Mall closed this past Sunday.
