Toylift Charities & Greene County Sheriff Organize Hurricane Florence Relief Effort

Three different trucks at three different local locations will be accepting items to help the families affected by Hurricane Florence.

According to the Collection Hurricane Florence press release:

Tom Powell, Founder of the Toy Lift Charities and the Greene County Sheriff, Steve Smith, successfully obtained commitments from three private individuals for the donation of three trucks to transport relief supplies to the Hurricane Florence area of New Bern, NC.  These will be delivered mid-week next week after we are certain roads are passable enough to allow entry.

Watching TV this past week and witnessing the devastation throughout North Carolina has made us all realize that we as a community are in a position to assist. Powell has been in touch with the Community Services Director in New Bern, NC to obtain a list of items most needed to help the people of North Carolina with the recovery. A list of those items is attached for your use and publication.   DO NOT PROVIDE CLOTHING, as it will NOT be accepted.
