Local Teacher Successfully Runs 100 Miles for Charity

Is running for 24 hours even possible? In the name of supporting High School students, anything is possible.

Louisa County High School English teacher Kate Fletcher started running around the track Monday morning at 9AM.

According to NBC 29:

The money raised will benefit the Lion Pride Scholarship Fund for graduating seniors, and the high school’s newspaper. This is the third year Fletcher has run this campaign.

If you would like to support Ms. Fletcher’s efforts, click HERE.  Last year, she raised 5.500 dollars for Louisa County High School.

UPDATE:  Ms. Fletcher was successful in her 100 mile, 400 lap run that took her a little over 24 hours to complete.  You can still donate to her cause by clicking on the link above!
