I’m proud to be an Eagle Scout. The Boy Scouts have taught me life lessons that I still use today. Now, they’ve made a major decision.
Girls can now be admitted, and can even work all the way up to Eagle Scout. Growing up, there was always one or two females that would camp with our troop on occasion. They did the same things we did like tie knots and learn how to build a fire as well as shoot a shotgun.
Sometimes, they even did it better than us.
I’m concerned about the Girl Scouts though. They have their own group that builds leadership in young women in their own way, but more importantly, what about my thin mint consumption??! It HAS to keep going!!!
